Which is the Most Difficult Undergraduate Degree Program in WIUC?

You are in Wisconsin, there is nothing wrong with you thinking that your program is the most difficult. When asked if your undergraduate program is the most difficult, you may be biased in giving the answer. In this blog post, I would like to ask: Which is the most difficult undergraduate degree program in WIUC?

I really had a lot of fun discussing this topic with a few Wisconsin students who offer different undergraduate degree programs, each giving their own reasons. This writer won't be able to meet everybody and ask the same question, so if you have some answers you can drop it by leaving a comment without any prejudice.

However, before you say something, may be you should know what some of your colleagues are saying about this.

How Difficult is Management and Computer Studies (BMS)?

How Difficult is Management and Computer Studies? Some students I spoke to believe this undergraduate degree program to be the most difficult. They argue that now the grading system for WCOM students has been reduced to 70, it makes it easier for them  to climb the A ladder while BMS students struggle to make an A with their grading system still hanging at 80.

Some of them even argued that WCOM is now the easiest undergraduate program since they can easily make an A without much ado. Spontaneously, the WCOM students seemed to take it personal and raised a very vital point: the argument that Computer Science and Management is comprised of Programming courses  (C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, Data Structures, Oracle, Database Management with MySQL etc.) which an average student would not be able to understand.

They argued that if any student reads an Office Management or a Human Resource Management handout, majority of them will pass the exams, which is not the case with Programming courses like C++ or Java. You may end up reading your programming notes, but if you are not a problem solver, you might not be able to tackle the programming questions that will be thrown at you in the  examination hall at limited time.

Some WCOM students said that it is ridiculous to say that WCOM is the easiest undergraduate degree program in Wisconsin. It appears as if Business Studies (BBS) is the easiest until a WCOM student made a point totally unexpected. Although some students disagreed with him, personally, I understood where he was coming from.

Business students do more of accounting and management courses which to him is very boring and requires a lot of reading. He expressed that accounting and management courses are so boring to him that he sleeps in the class whenever it is taught, something that is impossible for him to do in computer classes.

He said "Doing a lot of reading which might even lead to forgetfulness before the exams is not such a good idea, as for programming if you get the concept, you don't need to read all night in order to pass. You will definitely do well."

Everything one has to do in this world has a rule that has to be followed. None of undergraduate degree programs is actually the most difficult, it all depends on the individual. A WCOM student might say that WCOM is the most difficult, a BBS, BMS or Diploma student will also argue that his or her own degree program is the most difficult. You just need to discover yourself and follow what you can do.
