21st century student who finishes secondary school education may not dream to study in Africa. They finally do when they are faced with circumstances beyond their control, Africa is a place they settle for the less. But there are many reasons why you should make Africa your dream place to study not just a center of last resort.

In the University of Ghana Legon, a lot of white students hold an amazing population over there, an indication that they find Africa as a place where they can learn and take back what they have learnt back to their country.

It is obvious to everybody that African students who wish to gain admission into tertiary institution will find it easier and more affordable than going afar (Europe, Asia).
According to United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), South Africa hosted about 61,000 international students in 2009, of which to-thirds came from other African countries that are members of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).

There is not point going to China to study while we have an equivalent here in our own home (continent).

Ghana is also growing as a host country for international students.
Increasingly the world is looking at Africa and the rest Africa as well equipped and reputable enough to train and develop their own students. Diverse natural attractions, from game parks and deserts to escarpments and tropical rainforests, combined with some world-class universities in the south, north, west and east, are all good reasons to study in Africa even this the whites concur.
The continent’s many political and economic development models should also be of interest to students in those fields, while richly varied cultures and multi-ethnic cities with their plethora of languages (South Africa alone has 11 official languages) almost guarantee that anyone choosing to study in Africa will learn a lot more than just what they enrolled for!
