List of 36 unaccredited or illegal universities in Nigeria

There are a lot of illegal universities springing up in Nigeria. A lot of people want to own a university by all means, so it will be in your best interest to avoid them. Unfortunately, the Nigerian government have not been able to eradicate these universities from the system.
But you have a better role to play. You can help the government eradicate these mushroom universities by refusing to go to them. These universities are there for business, they are not forcing any student to come to them. Some of them even claim to be affiliated to some universities Ghana.

Please don’t fall for their tricks. If you are desperate for admission, study hard and also pray hard for your admission to your dream university (University of Nigeria Nsukka, University of Lagos, Ahmadu Bello University and many others).
